Grilled Ribeye Steak

Ingredients: Serves 1-2

  • 16 oz ribeye steak (1–1.5 inches thick)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 2 sprigs rosemary (or thyme)
  • Salt & black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prep: Bring steak to room temp (30–45 min). Pat dry, season with salt & pepper.
  2. Preheat Grill: Heat grill to 450 degrees. (High)
  3. Grill: Place steak on the grill, cook for 4–5 min per side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness)
  4. Baste: In the last minute of grilling, melt butter with garlic and rosemary in a small bowl. Brush over the steak.
  5. Check Temp: Use a thermometer (130°F for medium rare).
  6. Rest & Serve: Let steak rest 5–10 min, then slice and enjoy!
