Grilled Ribeye Steak
Ingredients: Serves 1-2
- 16 oz ribeye steak (1–1.5 inches thick)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, smashed
- 2 sprigs rosemary (or thyme)
- Salt & black pepper
Instructions
- Prep: Bring steak to room temp (30–45 min). Pat dry, season with salt & pepper.
- Preheat Grill: Heat grill to 450 degrees. (High)
- Grill: Place steak on the grill, cook for 4–5 min per side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness)
- Baste: In the last minute of grilling, melt butter with garlic and rosemary in a small bowl. Brush over the steak.
- Check Temp: Use a thermometer (130°F for medium rare).
- Rest & Serve: Let steak rest 5–10 min, then slice and enjoy!
